The Landstuhl Youth Center’s Annual Art Show was held from Feb. 12-15, 2024. The show is partnered with the Boys and Girls Club of America (BGCA). Contest winners from each group will have their art submitted to the BGCA National Art Contest. Winners at the national level receive an engraved plaque and have their art professionally reproduced on canvas and displayed at the BGCA national headquarters art gallery and on the BGCA website galleries for a year.
The Annual Art Show at the Landstuhl Youth Center is an opportunity to encourage creativity for youth and children in the area by displaying their art pieces for viewing. The theme of this year’s competition is ‘The Joy in Our Stories’.
The pieces displayed in the show were primarily collected from Kaiserslautern High School, Ramstein Middle School, Landstuhl Elementary School, Landstuhl School Age Center and Sembach School Age Center. We also had contributions from others in the Kaiserslautern Military Community.
