Get published as a student writer! 

Here is your chance to share your adventures, travels and opinions on StripesEurope.com!

We are looking for student-written articles about your community and your experience  as a military kid. 

Submit one story, or many. It’s up to you.

What do you want to write about?
  • Report on school, scouting or community events.

  • Tell people about a recent vacation or day trip.

  • Review the best apps, books or movies.

  • Give advice and share your experiences as a military kid.

  • Opinions: we want your voices heard!

How does it work?
  1. Type up your non-fiction article, and then edit it. Keep your word count between 200–600 words, total. The work must be your own. Plagiarism or use of AI authorship is prohibited.

  2. Submit your story as an email attachment in .doc or .docx format. Send it to: contentteam@stripes.com. Make the subject: “Student Writer.”

  3. You are welcome to also email us any pictures you took or images you created to accompany your article.

  4. After we get your story, we will send you a permission form that needs to be signed by both the author and their parents.

  5. If we plan to publish your story online or in one of our magazines, then it will be edited by our team.

  6. We will email you a link and a date of when it is scheduled to be published!
