If you’re a chicken sandwich fan, your Monday just got a little brighter. The highly sought-after Popeye’s chicken sandwich is on its way to nine international military bases in Europe and 16 in Pacific. After a false alarm announcing the sandwich’s arrival last year, we have AAFES—and your determination and perseverance—to thank for bringing the chicken sandwich to Popeye’s locations in Germany, Guam, Italy, Japan, Korea and Puerto Rico. For those stationed in Europe, the sandwiches will be available by the end of January. Three cheers for COVID-19 not canceling everything!
