SUITLAND, MD – Andrews Federal Credit Union recently received a commendation from Morale, Welfare and Support (MWR) at USAG Wiesbaden in Germany. The credit union was honored for its ongoing support of the military community through monetary donations and through contributions of volunteer service.
According to Andrews Federal Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Orgeron, this recognition is meaningful because of the impact it makes on military service members and their families. “Andrews Federal remains strongly committed to serving our military community,” Orgeron said. “Through our partnership with MWR, we invest both funds and our time as our credit union staff faithfully commits to support community events and initiatives.”
The credit union’s leadership team received the recognition during their overseas visits this fall. Board members, including Board Chair Col. (Ret.) Kenneth McKinney, and executive leadership team members were all on-hand for the presentation.
