Baumholder 9/11 Remembrance Run (USAG Rheinland-Pfalz)
On Sept. 14, 2024, the Rheinland-Pflaz MWR hosted a free five kilometer 9/11 Remembrance Run on Smith barracks in Baumholder.
The event garnered a crowd of dedicated runners, including active duty members, family members, pets and kiddos in strollers. It began with check-in at the Hall of Champions. The course looped around the base and past a water station near the mess hall.

Medals were given in four categories: adults, youth, runners with pets and runners with strollers.
The run was sponsored by Service Credit Union and Stars and Stripes.
