OFF-BASE MEDICAL CARE

While there may be some cultural and treatment differences in Türkiye, rest assured that the medical standard of care you receive is the highest quality. Although there are a few differences in medical practices, the 39 MDG staff collaborate with the host nation medical partners, ensuring a positive outcome and experience for all patients. Local hospitals do accept TRICARE.

CIVILIAN MEDICAL CARE

Preferred Network Facilities for Civilians are not supported. Adana hospitals do not accept civilian insurance. Some insurance providers will reimburse individuals for out-of-pocket costs, but this should be discussed with the insurance provider before seeking care.

• For services provided by Acibadem Adana Hospital, visit acibadem.com.tr/en/services.

• For services provided by Medline Adana Hospital, visit medlineadanahospital.com.

U.S. state laws for insurance and liability do not support care for individuals assigned to Türkiye. As such, there is currently no mental health care available in the local community for civilians.

• Mental Health Resource: 24/7/365 Employee Assistance Program. Call 1-866-580-9046 and identify the Defense Logistics Agency as their servicing agency.
