The final week of September 2024 was a busy one for the Wiesbaden High School Warrior Battalion. Their color guard team supported the Wiesbaden High School and Garrison while opening numerous sporting events..
On Sept. 26, C/1LT Catherine Mellon commanded the color guard team to present our national colors in front of the whole school for the annual homecoming pep rally.
Mellon took command of the color guard again on Sept. 27 to kick off the Wiesbaden High School homecoming football game.
When asked why she dedicates her time to support our community and play a part in doing color guards for athletic events, Mellon says “I think it’s fun and I like to help represent the warrior battalion and our community.”
The color guard team stepped out again to commence the homecoming volleyball game on Sept. 28, where C/MAJ Cydnee Lassiter commanded.
