The Victorian era comes to life for one eclectic weekend as the 7th Annual Anno 1900 Steampunk Convention roars to life in Luxembourg. Bustled skirts appear alongside intricate mechanical creations as spectators fill Minnett Park to enjoy artistic performances, music and circus artists, theatre, dance and more on September 23 through 24.

For those not familiar, steampunk blends several elements stemming from science fiction, or science fantasy, and incorporating 19th century technology and aesthetic design. The result is a hybrid, art nouveau, post-apocalyptic, Victorian-esque style that extends through literature, fashion, film, machinery and design.

Visitors will be treated to a wide variety of street entertainment, concerts, a Victorian market, unique mechanical exhibitions, rides on historic steam trains and more.
