Meet Nakoa, star of our pet travel photo of the month for November 2023, on his journey to Tolmin, Slovenia.
This photo was taken while Nakoa enjoyed his family’s trip to Tolmin, Slovenia. Tolmin is part of the Soča River Valley, which is known for its milky blue waters and deep scenic gorges.
While there, Nakoa and his family took a nice cold dip in the clear mountain water.
“We love that he is a part of our lives.”
Nakoa’s name means brave in Hawaiian. His family feels so lucky to have this trooper to follow along all of their PCS journeys from Maryland to Hawaii and now Germany!
He has been nicknamed the “gentle giant” and he is a major lap dog. He loves snuggling and playing with everyone that comes across his path.
