The Rheinland-Pfalz Cancer Support Society will host its annual After Work Pink Party at the Edith Stein Haus in Kaiserslautern Oct. 6 from 6 to 10 p.m. This fun, informative celebration is free and open to the public.

Information booths, great entertainment, prize drawings and dancing are some highlights of the event. Snacks and beverages will be on sale.

If that’s not enough to pique your interest, there will also be a purse swap and scarf sale. Scarves will be sold at the event for 1 euro each. If you donate a purse(s), you’ll receive a swap coupon (1 coupon per person regardless of the number of purses donated), which you can redeem for a new-to-you purse at the event. Even if you don’t have a purse to swap, you may find one you can’t live without — all purses will be sold for 5 euros each.

All proceeds go directly to the Rheinland-Pfalz Cancer Society, so please come out and support this cause.

The Edith Stein Haus is at Engelsgasse 1 in Kaiserslautern.

If you can't attend the event but would like to contribute, purse and scarf donations may be dropped off until Sept. 30. The collection times are Monday to Wednesday from noon to 6 p.m. at the Beratungsstelle Krebsgesellschaft, located at Gersweilerweg 14 in Kaiserslautern.
