Gimmeldinger Almond Blossom Festival | Early March–April, 2025

Every year, the soft pink Pfälzer Mandelblüte, or Palatinate almond blossoms line the German Wine Street. You can take a self-guided stroll or bike ride along the route which is 100 kilometers from Bockenheim through the wineries in the Palatinate to Schweigen Rechtenbach.

The main event is the Gimmeldinger Almond Blossom Festival where visitors are invited to walk along the pink trail with more than 2,000 trees. As you promenade, the spring spectacle turns into a street of festivities where winegrowers, restaurateurs and other vendors set up stalls to offer regional wines like fitting pink Rosé and almond-inspired delicacies.
