It’s time to give some love to our wild buddies! Every March 3rd marks the United Nations World Wildlife Day - a global celebration of all things fuzzy and green. World Wildlife Day began in 2014, and March 3rd was chosen because of its historical significance as the day in 1973 when the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) was signed. In 2024, the theme is digital innovation. However, even if you aren’t tech savvy, you can get involved.

KMC Pride is rolling up their sleeves to give the Ramstein Base Lake a touch of TLC. They are calling out for your helping hands to join them in clearing up the grills, binning the trash, and pruning those overgrown bushes. But that’s not all! They’re creating a dazzling new flower garden and rockery, plus we’ll be popping up bird feeders and butterfly/bee puddlers to give our furry and winged friends a sweet treat.
