Approximately 35 Cub Scouts from Pack 007, along with their families and friends, participated in the annual Pinewood Derby, which was held at the Naples Elementary School at Naval Support Activity Naples, Italy, Jan. 21, 2017.

The Pinewood Derby is one of the most popular events in Scouting and is enjoyed by Cub Scouts around the world. The purpose of the Pinewood Derby is to help Cub Scouts build team relationships with parents and helpers, experience a sense of accomplishment and the excitement of competition, learn good sportsmanship, and to have fun.
