Stripes Europe is accepting volunteer story submissions about Naples for publication online or in our next Welcome to Naples guide.
This is a great opportunity for people stationed at NSA Naples who would like to help newcomers or visitors better understand the Naples area. It is also the chance to get your article published online or in print!
Interested? Here is what you need to do.
Choose a topic:
Describe what happens in Naples on San Gennaro and tell us what the holiday is about.
Help newcomers understand what they can expect during Ferragosto in Naples and describe what it is.
Give us a travel narrative, including logistical details, about what you consider the best first local day trip a newcomer should take when they move to Naples.
Tell our readers about a place they can go easily, and on a budget, for a weekend getaway from Naples (via any means of transportation).
Keep it in the parameters:
Save your submission in .doc, .docx, or .txt format.
Use a maximum of 500 words.
Give it a catchy title.
Submit by attaching it to an email sent to contentteam@stripes.com with “Naples story” in the subject line.
Your deadline is February 15, 2024.
If selected you will need to fill out a volunteer writer agreement form allowing Stars and Stripes to use your submission.
