If you’re all about beauty, relaxation and fine dining, check out the town of Portopiccolo Sistiana. Located along the coast of the Adriatic Sea, in the gulf of Trieste, you can watch the boats pull in to the dock. Hit the spa, explore the shops, watch the sun set over the sea, and then grab a refreshing drink from the bar.

In October, the Barcolana Regatta takes place. This is a yacht racing event that happens every year. While you can see the yachts take off in Trieste, get up close and personal by visiting Portopiccolo.
