Paris 2024 Olympics ()

In one year, the Olympics will be here in Europe! The Games of the XXXIII Olympiad, or the 33rd Summer Olympics are better known as Paris 2024. If you are interested in going, start planning now, and don’t miss out on this chance of a lifetime. Tickets are already on sale (and even sold out) for certain events.

“The Paris 2024 Olympic Games begin on July 26, 2024, and end on August 11, 2024.    ”

“The Paris 2024 Paralympic Games begin on August 28, 2024, and run through September 8, 2024. ”

Ticket Rules

While some events are already sold out, the organizers are frequently releasing more tickets as planning continues and venues are established. There are a maximum of four to six tickets allowed during a single purchase, depending on the venue. Only 30 tickets may be purchased, in total, by a single account holder.

Locations

While the opening and closing ceremonies take place in Paris, many other events are occurring outside the city. When booking tickets, be sure to note the location. Football (soccer) matches are spread throughout the country with some being held as far as Bordeaux, Nice and Marseille in the far south of France. The ticket search function on the website has an easy-to-use filter so you can select which city or cities you are willing to travel to.

The following locations are listed as separate cities on the website, but they are all within the Paris metroplex and reachable by public transit. So, if you are willing to take a subway out to the Paris suburbs, be sure to check for tickets in these towns as well.

Paris locations:

  • Paris

  • Saint-Denis

  • Villepinte

  • Vaires-sur-Marne

  • Nanterre

  • Saint Quentin-en-Yvelines

  • Versailles

Ticket Cost and Availability

Big events, like the Opening Ceremony, are extremely expensive, with tickets currently starting at 2,700 euros per seat. The Closing Ceremony is currently starting at 1,100 euros. If either of these is a must-do for you, book now as they are expected to sell out quickly.

There are plenty of budget options as well. There are so many football (soccer) games, that some tickets are only 24 euros. Women’s golf and rowing are also cheaper options with tickets in the 25-35 euro range. Rugby, basketball and boxing matches are roughly 50-100 euros.

What isn’t available?

Track and field events are gone, but more tickets may come available. Triathlon, Sport Climbing and BMX events completely sold out within two hours of the ticket sales opening. There are currently very few gymnastic events available, and those start at a pricey 630 euros.

Tickets to the Paralympic Games are not yet on sale. They will be available via the website beginning on October 9, 2023. Plan and book now for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Visit the official Paris 2024 ticketing page to book tickets.
