Once you arrive in Italy and get settled in, you can immerse yourself in the local culture. Visit the FFSC to find out about orientation classes.
The dining culture in Italy is unique, here are some things to note.
Lunch times are around 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Dinner times start around 7 p.m. and restaurants may stay open until midnight.
Expect evening meals to last two hours or more.
Restaurants will close between lunch and dinner.
You will need to ask for the check when you are ready to go.
Not every restaurant accepts credit cards, so bring euro.
