MWR
Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR)’s mission is to provide top quality-of-life support through a wide variety of recreation activities, quality childcare and entertainment services to forward-deployed service members and their families in Sicily. MWR aims to make your stay in Sigonella comfortable and memorable.
Fitness: MWR has two 24/7 fitness centers, two year-round outdoor pools, a family fitness center, batting cages, skate park and adult fitness classes and sports programs. Year-round youth sports are also offered.

Recreation: MWR runs the Spare Time Bowling Center, 568 Lounge, Connections Pub, Midtown 2 theaters, auto skill center, car wash and a library.
Liberty Center: Open to active-duty service members, the Liberty Center is a place for single service members and geo bachelors to hang out, watch movies, play on one of the multiple video game platforms, and enjoy the many programs and events that make up the Liberty Program.

The NAS Sigonella Chapel hosts Catholic Mass, traditional and contemporary Protestant services and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetings. There are religious education
programs for children and teenagers throughout the year. The Religious Ministries Department also supports life skills classes, such as marriage enrichment, stress management and ethics workshops. The CREDO program sponsors resiliency retreats and workshops for women, couples, singles and families. The chapel helps facilitate worship services and provide faith-specific needs to accommodate all of our nation’s diverse religious requirements.

The USO center has amenities, such as drinks, snacks, troop computers, Wi-Fi and TVs. The USO also supports transit flights with drinks, snacks and serves a free lunch weekly. Other programs include events for parents and young children, spouses, single or unaccompanied personnel, families and various other outreach across the base, as well as virtual programming.
