Reichsburg, in Cochem Germany (Robert A. Ortiz)

Thanks to Robert A. Ortiz for sending in this charming photo at medieval Cochem.

The Reichsburg (Imperial Castle) at Cochem is over 1,000 years old. It fell into ruin after French invasions of the 1600s but was rebuilt in the 1870s when it was popular for wealthy Germans to own romanticized medieval castles.
