Don’t put away that dirndl and lederhosen just yet! While you may have all the upcoming Christmas markets on the brain, there is at least one Oktoberfest where beer is still flowing.
It is the final weekend for Mannheim’s Oktoberfest. Friday and Saturday you can listen to traditional German music while dining on Bavarian favorites like white sausages and pretzels with sweet mustard, pork knuckle and half roasted chickens. Currently, all the tables are booked but there are still individual tickets you can purchase for 25 euros.
The party will be across from Carl Benz Stadium at Theodor Heuss Anlage. It’s strongly encouraged you to take public transportation so you can enjoy as many steins of beer you want and not have to worry about traffic or parking. The closest public transportation stops are Luisenpark/Technoseum and Carl Benz Stadium. Tents open at 5 p.m. and close at midnight. Prost!
