Germany is the land of festivals, celebrating everything from beer to Christmas. Rejoice in the melting of snow and coming of flowers and new leaves at the Nuremberg Spring Festival. From April 20 to May 12, experience the second largest spring festival in Bavaria, which draws around two -million visitors each year.

This Franconian cultural event takes place next to the Dutzendteich Lake in the Volksfestplatz. Here you will find something for everyone, including games, roller coasters, bumper cars, carousels, food, beer and a concert stage.

The festival is open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m., Wednesdays from 1 p.m. to 11 p.m., Fridays from 2 p.m. to 12 a.m., Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. (except for Easter) , and the last day from 10:30 am to 11:30 p.m. Admission is free so go out and celebrate the spring season!
