Wiesbaden Multicultural Fair ()
The Fourth-Grade team and students at Wiesbaden Elementary School in Wiesbaden Germany held a very successful Multicultural Fair on March 3, 2023. The students shared their research of the many different countries they’ve been trekking online and via varied references from the Information Center over the past few weeks.
Parents, too, were on site to help with these investigations, culminating with 4th graders sampling different tastes from across the globe.
Special thanks to Golanda Hamlin, a Europe East Educator, for pioneering these investigations and the related grant she sought/gained from the National Education Association (FEA) in conjunction with Read Across America. It was a great event to celebrate our diverse readers and learners. The fourth-grade team was extremely grateful to the families for their support in many different capacities.
