Unexploded WWII ordnance has been found by construction crews in Mainz, just 20 minutes from the Wiesbaden military community. The bomb is expected to be defused starting Thursday, April 13 after 8 p.m. While the careful process is not expected to affect many residents or businesses in Zollhafen, sections of the Rheinallee roadway, railroad and Rhine River will be closed. Be prepared for delays and detours if you plan to be in the area at this time.
