Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines! There are two great car shows hitting the pavement this August you won’t want to miss.

2017 Annual Ultimate Car & Bike Show – Aug. 19, Grafenwoehr

Catch the smoothest and hottest rides in the area at Grafenwoehr, as the Better Opportunities for Single Servicemembers (BOSS) program hosts its annual Car & Bike Show.

The show will be held at Tower Barracks, Exchange Parking Lot from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., August 19. There will be fun for the whole family including games, live music, great food and prize give-aways. Avid motorists can also show off their own rides by entering them in the show. The entry fee for cars and trucks is $15 and motorcycles are $10.

NitrOlympX Drag Racing – Aug. 18-20, Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg

Get ready for some heart-pounding motor sport action as some of the fastest cars in the world rumble to the start line to kick off the NitrOlympx.

The NitrOlympX is one of the largest drag races of its kind, on average hosting 250 teams in 14 race classes. Drivers can reach speeds of 0 to 100 km/h in less than two seconds – and the top fuel class cars typically reach speeds of up to 500 km/h as they race each other on the quarter mile straightaway!

The thrills don’t stop with the races. As night falls across the track and the floodlights click on, racing spectators are in for the legendary Saturday Night Show. Expect spectacular stunts, burn-out contests and flames as racers and stunt performers take over the motorway.

A variety of ticketing options are available for purchase, ranging from weekend passes to one-day tickets.
