Spouse hub volunteers standing in front of fire place (Stripes Staff)
Tucked away behind the Chili’s on Ramstein Air Base is the Spouse Hub, a place for community, connection and resources.
Stars and Stripes Europe took a trip to the Military and Family Readiness Center Spouse Hub to see what they had to offer, and we did not leave disappointed. We spoke with several people on-site who shared all kinds of insight about the Spouse Hub.
Need a quiet spot to work on paper? They have perfectly sized desks with outlets to let you toil away (and there is a conveniently located café right outside of the Hub serving coffee and snacks to fuel you).
Have a question about military and personal life overseas? They have EFMP (Exceptional Family Member Program) workers onsite to discuss whatever you need.
Want a conference room to host a book club, spouse club meeting or small get-together? They have a conference area you can reserve for free.
Want a safe space to meet new people? They host monthly informal Fireside Chats where they cover a new topic each month. Past topics include gardening care in Germany and Space-A travel.
