If you’ve been searching for the perfect European souvenir or maybe procrastinated a little on finding that special gift for Mom, be sure to stop by the 2017 Mildenhall Mayfair Bazaar. Now in its 47th year, this annual bazaar is hosted by the Mildenhall Spouses’ Club and will be held Friday, May 12 through Sunday, May 14. This year, the event also coincides with the 25th anniversary of the 100th Air Refueling Wing (100th ARW).

The shoppers’ paradise will have more than 60 vendors from around Europe selling handcrafted goods such as unique wine barrel furniture, beautiful antiques, clocks, jewelry, art, gourmet cheeses and olives, wine and much more. If all that shopping and perusing has worked up an appetite, more than 20 private organizations from around the base will offer tasty treats at outdoor concession stands.

If little ones need to burn off a little energy, stop by the 100th ARW celebration. Complete with static aircraft displays, carnival rides and games, there is something for everyone. The Mildenhall Mayfair Bazaar is open 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Strollers are welcome. Be sure to bring plenty of dollars or British pounds, as there is no ATM available at the hangar. Some vendors may accept credit cards.
