Latin American rhythms and Christmas songs echo from the speakers on the stage, and a group of visitors dance in a good mood to salsa. Children enjoy the piñata and a visit from Santa Claus. The smell of freshly grilled meat and Christmas sweets fills your nose. Dancers from countries such as Venezuela, Cuba, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia and Mexico captivate visitors with their folklore performances. Artisans present their specially designed creations made from jewelry, textiles and handicrafts.

The Christmas edition of the Latin American Weekend is back in Stuttgart. The three-day Christmas market will take place from December 1st to December 3rd, 2023 at the Erwin Schoettle Platz. Various foodtrucks from Latin America present culinary delicacies such as empanadas, papa rellena, tamales, arepas, coxinhas and delicious Christmas treats. Talented art exhibitors from Mexico and Peru also offer their handmade works made of wood, textiles and jewelry. In addition, visitors are presented with a diverse stage program with folklore performances, live music and dance performances.
