Wondering how to get to Gimmeldingen? The town's actually not that far from Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. Once in Neustadt, a shuttle bus will be in service to bring guests closer to the fest area. You could also opt to make the hike all the way from Neustadt into Gimmeldingen, taking in Neustadt's postcard-perfect town center en route. As you take on this two-mile hike with a couple of hills, the sight of the almond trees in bloom will no doubt wet your whistle and put you in the mood for the treats ahead. Those driving their own vehicles should follow the sign of the pink blossom to the designated parking areas.
