Munich hosts its popular Auer Dult events three times a year — in the spring, summer and fall. From now through October 22, the Kirchweihdult is your last opportunity of the year to browse Europe’s largest selection of ceramic cookware and porcelain in the heart of Bavaria’s capital city; but it doesn’t end there.
Munich’s Auer Dult festivals are like flea markets on steroids. More than 300 stalls will be set up in Mariahilfsplatz, offering musical used clothing, furniture, books, musical instruments and handicrafts. This is a great opportunity to shop for unique souvenirs and Christmas presents to send back to friends and family in the States on a budget.
