London is an amazing metropolis filled with discoveries around every corner. With well-known landmarks, centuries-old pubs and a unique charm, it’s easy to get lost in the culture of the city. Now that spring has finally arrived in the U.K., festival season is ramping up. If you’re planning a trip to London between now and Sept. 30, be sure to hit up the Underbelly Festival on London’s South Bank.
What started as a small pop-up festival in the heart of London 10 years ago, has morphed into a months-long event full of live circus acts, cabaret, comedy and plenty of family-friendly fun. Invading the picturesque South Bank district along the Thames, Underbelly has retained its quirky festival atmosphere. Stroll through the shops and grab a snack from one of the mouth-watering street food vendors. Or stop in for a beverage at one of London’s largest outdoor bars, while watching the sun dip below London’s skyline.
