If you expect to be traveling between Kaiserslautern and Pirmasens over the weekend, be prepared for detours and delays. A section of the B270 near Donsieders will be completely closed from March 10 at 6 p.m. to March 13 at 5 a.m. for major repairs to the superstructure of the Biebermühle bridge and ramp.

Two detours on B270 will take you around the construction. Pay close attention to the Umleitung and construction signs.

From Kaiserslautern to Pirmasens, take:

• B270 to L477

• L477 to A62

• A62 to B10

• B10 back to B270 toward Rodalben

From Pirmasens to Kaiserslautern, take:

• B270 to K27

• K27 to Donsieders

• L498 back to B270 toward Burgalben

Pedestrians and cyclists can safely cross in a designated area.

Following the initial repairs, remaining work may be completed over the next couple of weeks. Construction crews should be cleared by the end of March.
