A demonstration and march will take place in downtown Frankfurt am Main on Saturday, Feb. 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. German police anticipate approximately 900 participants and violent activity is possible. The demonstrators will start at the South train station, or Südbahnhof, and continue in the direction of downtown ending at the Willy-Brandt-Platz. DOD personnel are reminded to exercise heightened vigilance and awareness if traveling to Frankfurt and avoid demonstrations if encountered.
