Grab your friends and family to one of Kaiserslautern’s biggest events at the Kerwe, or folk festival. Every October and May, the Messeplatz magically turns into a fun eleven-day fair for all ages to enjoy! Filled with delicious food such as flammkuchen and churros, amusement rides, beer gardens and prizes, the kerwe kicks off for the summer season. Bustling with nearly 250,000 visitors, be sure not to miss one of Rheinland Pfalz’s favorite fairs! The fun starts at 5 p.m. and ends at 1 a.m. on opening day.
