Major League Baseball first came to London in June of 2019 with two games played between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees. (For the record, the Yankees won both games).

Another great rivalry is set to follow in their footsteps on June 13-14, 2020, as a two-game series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Cubs plays out. What’s known as the Route 66 Rivalry has been livening up the sport for 138 years and counting.

The games will take place in London Stadium, a multi-purpose outdoor venue constructed for the summer Olympics of 2012. Today it’s the home stadium of West Ham United of the Premier League.

Those who want in on America’s national sport will soon get their first chance to procure tickets. The pre-sale of London Series 2020 tickets opens at 10 a.m. GMT on November 21. Each customer will be able to purchase up to six tickets. Ticket prices begin at 30 UK pounds (about $38.75), plus handling fees.
