Beginning Wednesday, April 19, the entry and exit ramps of A62 heading toward Trier will be completely blocked at the Bann junction. During this time, the right lane of the A62 direction Trier will be closed for asphalt repairs; however, the left-hand continuous lane will remain open. The construction project is expected be completed in four weeks, barring inclement weather delays.

Be aware of posted Umleitung, or detour signs, and allow yourself extra time when commuting to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center or Ramstein Air Base on A62. The Bann exit from Pirmasens to K60 can be diverted via Landstuhl-Atzel. The detour to Bann from K60 in the direction of Trier will take A62 towards Pirmasens to Weselberg and then back toward Trier. U7 can also be used by taking K60 to L363 to L470.
