This combination water and theme park on the southeastern shore of Lake Garda offers a Caribbean island-themed relaxation area and slides the whole family can enjoy. The park is also home to Stukas Boom, a 105-foot high slide renowned for its steep free-fall descent. Once the trap door beneath your feet opens up, it will take you only around three seconds to reach the bottom. A pair of slides built parallel to one another allow two friends to experience the ride simultaneously.

Captain Spacemaker, Caribe Bay, Aqualandia, Lido di Jesolo, Italy
Towering at 137 feet, the outdoor Captain Spacemaker is the tallest slide in Europe. Hop on board a rubber dinghy capable of accommodating up to four riders at a time and achieve speeds of up to 60 mph, thanks to the behemoth’s 60-degree incline. This large water park just outside Nuremberg offers indoor and outdoor fun year around and includes a textile-free thermal area. Its massive slide area is divided into two zones, Space Center and Future World. The Double Looping Pegasus II, for those ages 12 and over only, begins from a height of 62 feet. Once the glass cabin opens to release its passenger, an extremely steep, 46-foot long descent is followed by two loops. Riders can expect to reach speeds of up to 43 miles per hour.

Europe's largest slide park offers both the timid and the brave 27 water slides to choose from, including the Magic Eye, which at nearly 1200 feet in length is billed as the world’s longest tube slide. Four of the park’s slides are billed as extreme level, including The Big Wave, Germany's first open-air tube slide. The ride starts with the sensation of a roller coaster drop and follows it up with the sensation of swinging back and forth on a halfpipe. The ride is for those ages 10 and above only, and opens only when the temperatures climb above 64 degrees.

AdrenaLoop, Bade- und Saunawelt Calypso, Saarbrücken, Germany
This park has five slides promising to give thrill seekers what they’re after, including the AdrenaLoop. Once the trap door opens, a 32-foot, nearly freefall drop is followed by a loop. Riders achieve speeds of up to 34 miles per hour on the ride, which is over and done in the space of ten seconds. Riders must be age 10 or above.
