Known as the premier interlocking toy bricks, Lego are beloved by children and hobby enthusiasts around the globe.

Lego was invented 70 years ago in Billund, Denmark. With an astounding array of creative kits available, the only limit to creation is your imagination. While Lego stores can be found worldwide, if you find yourself visiting London, step inside the world’s largest.

The Lego store in Leicester Square features some of the most intricate and impressive creations to date. As you walk into the store, you’ll be greeted by Shakespeare inside a life-sized London Underground subway car — which took more than 140 days and 637,000 bricks to build. In addition, a stunning 6-meter-tall replica of Big Ben lights up the store window at night, and used more than 200,000 bricks to create. London’s signature red phone booths and tube maps are also prominently on display throughout the 9,800-square-foot store.

For Lego lovers, this London store is awesome.

Need to brush up on your building skills? Classes are offered with experienced Lego master builders. If you’ve been looking for a particular set, many hard-to-find Lego systems can be found at this London flagship store.
