If you are in need of counseling or mental health services, know that there are a multitude of programs and personnel that can assist you. Mental health is important for your well-being, and mental health challenges and issues should never be ignored or hidden.

CHAPEL

Chaplains provide 100% confidential counseling services focused on personal, family and relationship resiliency. Crisis counseling is also available. Counseling services are non-clinical and available to all regardless of religious affiliation.

HEALTH CLINICS

Psychologists, psychiatrists and behavioral health technicians are able to evaluate and manage psychiatric disorders. They can facilitate patient movement to a Military Treatment Facility (MTF) where they are able to receive the services required. They will refer most cases to other counseling services available on base.

If anyone is experiencing active suicidal ideations, seek emergency medical care from the Emergency Room at the installation.

  • Eligibility:Adults ages 18 and older with TRICARE coverage. Other adults will be billed by your individual health insurance.

FLEET AND FAMILY SUPPORT CENTER

FFSC provides short term, non-medical counseling for individuals, couples and families. Areas covered include but are not limited to relocation difficulties, adjustment problems, work related stress, crisis intervention and personal, marital, or family problems.

HOSPITAL & CHILD GUIDANCE CLINIC

The Hospital and Child Guidance Clinic provides psychotherapeutic treatment to address a broad range of psychological issues faced by children to include anxiety, depression, ADHD, adjustment difficulties and relationship issues.

  • Eligibility: Children of any age who are eligible to receive care in the MTF.

  • Location: NAS I Educational and Developmental Intervention Services Clinic —building 272
