Web Browser Translation

Desktop and mobile web browsers can be enabled to translate webpages in whole or in part. You may have to enable plug-ins, but apps like Google Chrome and Safari’s TranslateMe provide this convenience when Turkish websites do not have language options.

Duolingo

For language learning (free and paid options).

Google Translate App

This app allows you to translate typed and spoken language, plus the Google Lens features allows to translate Turkish from images via your camera. Keep in mind that there are informal and formal phrases in the Turkish language, so there will be times when Google Translate does not distinguish between the two. In formal situations, it is a good idea to cross-reference word choice with another credible source.

Ready to learn Turkish? Local nationals will appreciate that you are attempting to speak their native language. Remember, practice makes perfect!
