The torchlight swim is a major highlight of the market. Hundreds of scuba divers swim along with Santa Claus from the Keuser harbor to the Bernkastel Moselle bank, where Santa then gives presents to eagerly awaiting children. While you sip on hot glühwein, Bernkastel-Keus is also home to the largest Advent calendar in the Moselle region you can admire. Every evening, in the windows of the half-timbered Adler Pharmacy, a new door opens and is accompanied by a performance, reading or song.
