Usually people tour a city by day and party by night when they’re traveling. If you’ve ever wanted to combine the two, look no further. Pedibus is a bike bar tour company that allows you to party and pedal your way through one of the world’s greatest cities - London.
Whether you want to simply take sightseeing to the next level or celebrate a special occasion, Pedibus is a sure way to do either one. Each individual bike holds up to 12 people. You need at least five people to make a reservation, but can request a tour for up to 84 people with multiple bike bars. It costs 25 pounds per person and you pay upon boarding. Don’t let the possibility of bad weather stop you! Pedibus provides canopies for the bikes so not even the rain can put a damper on your party.
There are four different routes you can choose from: City and Thames, Shoreditch, St. Paul’s Cathedral or Borough market. Each tour lasts a little over an hour depending on how fast you can drink and pedal. Don’t worry! You most likely won’t work up a sweat so don’t feel like you have to be in the mood for a workout. The path isn’t rigorous and one person can easily power the bike bar on his or her own.
What’s a party without music? Each bike bar is equipped with an audio system. All you need is a designated DJ with an epic playlist on their phone. You’re allowed to bring as many soft drinks and snacks as you want. However, each person is limited to either two beers or two glasses of wine. Bottles of spirits aren’t allowed on the bike bar but there is a halfway pub stop along each route.
Sure, many people can say they’ve seen what London has to offer, but how many people can say they’ve biked their way through it though while sipping on a cold beer or glass of wine? Not many! Reservations can be made online or by phone. Happy bike bar partying!
