With Germany offering nine euro local/regional train tickets this summer, you now have even more of a reason outside of this beautiful weather to go out there and explore with your kids. Each ticket is good for the month of June, July or August, and provides you with unlimited travel on local/regional transport services during the selected month (for example, tickets purchased on June 15 are valid through June 30). Here are five places in Rheinland-Pfalz where you can go for a family-friendly adventure.
Technik Museum Speyer Kids and adults alike will have fun going down the “Big Slide” and being greeted by a Boeing 747. Catch a film in the IMAX Dome theatre. Adventure Forest Located halfway between Trier and Koblenz in Mosel, you will have the opportunity to attempt 14 different climbing courses that range in difficulty from “easy” to “Strongman.” For those who wish to keep their feet firmly planted on the ground, there are plenty of hiking opportunities or savor some coffee and cake on the rooftop terrace.
