Woman and man podcasting ()

Everything old is new again and a lot of that is thanks to streaming. Younger generations are discovering television shows, music and movies from the 1990s and early 2000s, and people in their thirties are rushing to buy the nostalgic toys and items their parents didn’t get them. The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are returning for an all-new movie on Netflix on April 19, plus three of the original Rangers returning and the last parts of the Sailor Moon reboot are being released in movie theaters in June.

Last year, I talked about 10 rewatch podcasts that would appeal to millennials, and it seems like that trend has only grown. So, if you are stationed here in Europe and looking for a little piece of your childhood, here are five more re-watch podcasts for all the nostalgic feelings.

1. “Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide” Originally aired 2004-2007

Ned and crew, Moze and Cookie, got us through some of the toughest parts of middle school: bullies, popularity, crushes, skipping school and more. Today, Devon Werkheiser (Ned), Lindsey Shaw (Moze), and Daniel Curtis Lee (Cookie) are back to help offer us a survival guide to adult life as they rewatch the show. At the time of writing, there are seven episodes for you to catch up on.

2. “Living Lizzie: A Very McGuire Podcast” Originally aired 2001-2004 (Major motion picture released in 2003)

Lizzie McGuire helped me feel so seen in middle school. She didn’t quite fit in. She went through weird fashion stages. She dated Aaron Carter for one episode (okay, I didn’t date Aaron Carter, but I totally crushed on him). Now, Jake Thomas (Matt McGuire) and Davida Williams (Claire) are back to reminisce on what made “Lizzie McGuire” such a popular hit and talk about its topics in a modern light. At the time of writing, there are only three episodes for you to catch up on and Clayton Snyder (Ethan Craft) is scheduled to appear in a future episode. You can also watch the podcast on YouTube.

3. “Supernatural: Then and Now” Originally aired 2005-2020

“Supernatural” was a phenomenon that spanned 15 seasons, international conventions and a spin-off show that is currently on the air. Rob Benedict (Chuck Shurley/God) and Richard Speight Jr (Gabriel and director of many episodes) are recapping each episode and providing behind-the-scenes insights. There are over three seasons of episodes for you to binge-listen to. Special guests include Jared Padalecki (Sam), Jensen Ackles (Dean) and Robert Singer (Executive Producer).

4. “Even More Stevens” Originally aired 2000-2003

Louis Stevens was the youngest brother of his perfect and intelligent sister, Ren, and his popular jock brother, Donnie. For three years, we got to watch their exploits and adventures of navigating school and home life. Now, Christy Carlson Romano (Ren Stevens), Nick Spano (Donnie Stevens), and Steven Anthony Lawrence (Beans) get together and recap the show, talk about how the show impacted their acting careers and their lives today. At the time of writing, there are five episodes for you to catch up on with one including special guest, George Anthony Bell (Principal Wexler).

5. “House of Halliwell” Originally aired 1998-2006

This show is recapping the original “Charmed,” that aired on the WB and the CW from 1998-2006, not the recent reboot. Sisters Prue, Piper, Phoebe and Paige spent six seasons fighting demons, Greek gods, the Source, time travelers and more, all the while trying to have careers, find love and raise families. Holly Marie Combs (Piper), Drew Fuller (Chris) and Brian Krause (Leo) watch these episodes (some for the first time) and talk about life filming a supernatural one-hour drama with tons of special effects and a small budget in the late 90s and early 2000s. They are currently recapping season two and special guests include John Cho (Mark Chao), Dorian Gregory (Darryl) and Tyler Laten (Melinda Warren).

Bonus: “Frosted Tips with Lance Bass” Boy Band Music from 1980s-early 2000s

This isn’t a re-watch podcast but rather a “re-listen” podcast. Lance Bass, from NSYNC, meets with members from famous boy bands (and other pop phenoms from the era) about the rise to fame and life after the boy band whirlwind. There are over 10 episodes for you to catch up on. Special guests include fellow NSYNC members JC Chasez and Joey Fatone, 98 Degrees’ member Jeff Timmons and a special two-part episode with Backstreet Boy AJ McLean.

*I’ve provided the Spotify links, but you can get these podcasts wherever you normally listen to your podcasts.*
