Today we will tell you about common ways of fraud with financial transactions and explain what to do if you get into them. Let's talk about how to protect yourself from them. All of us, unfortunately, are subject to deception, robbery. This cannot be foreseen, but you can create conditions for yourself in which the likelihood of such an unpleasant event will definitely become less.

Modern schemes of deception are progressing, scammers play on people's feelings for the sake of their way out. We have prepared for you 7 tips that will help you out in certain situations:

1. Be careful on the Internet. A lot of scammers enjoy the trust of Internet users. How it happens: they put up fake ads for the sale or purchase of something. In this case, they call you in order to find out the details of your credit card or electronic wallet (which in no case can be given to them). How else can you save yourself from this kind of robbery? It's simple - do not tell anyone the passwords from your cards, their expiration dates. Usually, to pay by card, it is enough to name its 16 digits. Everything else is a hoax. Make strong passwords for your social networks, emails and similar resources. They should not be repeated, but be varied and complex. If you have been robbed, contact the police. If money was nevertheless withdrawn from your card by a fraudulent method, do not hesitate to contact the relevant services for help, so at least you will try to return it.

2. There are also scammers who lure their victims to call them. The fact is that they specifically put very favorable prices for their goods on various Internet resources that attract people. But free cheese only happens in a mousetrap, so don't see it. Of course, you want to buy something cheaper than usual, but this may turn out to be a loss of money for you.

3. Fake social workers. Fraudsters come to the home of the elderly and pose as various "helpers", volunteers or members of the social security authorities and tell fictitious stories about a non-existent monetary reform. According to this reform, you need to exchange your banknotes for supposedly new ones. It may be that they call you from the bank and tell you to return the money that just came to your account. In fact, the money might not even come to your card, only a notification comes to your phone where it is written. The phone from which this SMS came can be the phone of an ordinary person who demands money from you. In the bank's services, you can link your phone number to a credit card, then you can be sure that the SMS or call comes from the bank. In general, you understand, you should not trust outsiders, strangers.

4. Based on the previous paragraph, I would like to add: do not let strangers into the house, who they did not introduce themselves to you. This can be dangerous not only for your wallet, but also for yourself, for your life. They can rub you into confidence and protect you at the most convenient moment for themselves.

5. Invented perks. After all, everyone knows that the military can have discounts and other advantages compared to other workers. You can also be scammed by fake government employees who pretend to be real. To avoid with them, it is advised not to pay attention to those documents that are not marked with a state sign. Fraudsters can come up with any law, distribute it both on the street and on the Internet. For example, in order to receive benefits for a certain category, you will need to register on a certain site. We talked about cheating on the Internet above.

6. Ask to see documents. It happens that employees of medical institutions, utilities, as well as other public services are deceivers. The same police officers who stopped you on the road for a traffic violation that you did not commit. They may be ordinary charlatans. There are times when they call you with a question about helping your relatives: call the police. Never give money to strangers.Do not be fooled by emotional tricks, keep vigilance and sobriety of mind.

7. Try to keep your money in a safe place. If you have electronic money and you are engaged in cryptocurrency investments, follow the news on the ICOholder website. Even a pensioner can create a financial airbag. Use reputable, trusted and safe sites. Even small investments can soon be turned into large sums that will be useful to you and your family. Mindfulness and financial awareness can also help protect your money.

Conclusion:

Be careful and careful in storing and using money online. Don't trust strangers and don't share your details with anyone. Be aware of government projects on benefits and similar moments, learn about their reliability, so as not to fall into the network of scammers. You can ask your relatives for help if you have doubts about using some sites or something doesn’t work. we think they will help you and advise you on how to properly use the tools of your computer.

We hope that our article was useful for you and you will draw certain conclusions for yourself. Good luck and goodbye!
