Marine children can apply for the WFF Scholarship by May 1st

Children of active duty and retired Marines can apply for the Williamson Family Foundation Scholarship. The foundation was started by Col. Charles Williamson and his wife, Helen, to support the children of active duty and retired Marines to help pay for the costs of an undergraduate education. Last year, they were able to provide multiple scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $25,000, giving a total of more than $130,000. This year they will be able to do the same.

Applicants are asked to respond to questions about their life as a military child, their extracurricular activities, their passions, and financial need. Applicants will need two recommendations.
