Stars and Stripes Europe has partnered with Rota Animal Welfare League (RAWL) to let you know about a pet at NAVSTA Rota in Spain that is looking for a new home.

Meet Scar.

Hello, my name is Scar.

I am a 1-year-old kitty.

I am a male tabby cat.

I have been in the shelter for a few weeks, after roaming the streets of Rota, Spain. I was accidentally injured by the dogs in my foster home. I ended up needing surgery to repair the broken leg I sustained. Then, I had to be on crate rest to heal. It’s been a journey! 

  My favorite thing to do is making angelic meows to get your attention. All I crave is human interaction and love. I also enjoy my scratching post when I get frisky! 

 I would do best in a home without dogs. As I have had some trauma in a household with them. I do like to try and swat at them out of possible fear now, when they walk by my kennel. 

I have had a hard start to life. But I’ve had a lot of caring people come together in the community to help me.

Now I’m healed, neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and hoping to find my forever home for the holidays!
