Stars and Stripes Europe has partnered with Rota Animal Welfare League (RAWL) to let you know about a pet at NAVSTA Rota in Spain that is looking for a new home. Meet Ophelia.

Hello, my name is Ophelia 

I am 1.5 years old.

I am a female domestic shorthair cat.

I have been in the shelter for 6 months, with little interest from adopters. 

My favorite things are lounging in my cat bed or on a perch enjoying the breeze. I like to eat yummy treats and exploring my play tunnel. 

I’m always friendly with other cats. I get lots of roommates, and they always get adopted and leave me behind. I like to sit back and chill. I’m very well behaved and sweet. But I’m a little shy.

I would do best in a home other cats, and kids that respect my space if I’m just wanting to relax. Not sure about dogs. 

I’ve been waiting far too long wondering when it will be my turn after watching my friends move in, then get adopted. 

I come vaccinated, spayed and microchipped.
