If you’re like me, it’s not the Christmas season without a real tree! But where can you find one if you’re stationed in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC)? Here are some places in 2025.
Weihnachtsbaum Siegfried in Mehlbach: You can purchase a pre-cut tree or cut one yourself with tools they provide. Last year, we visited this spot and were very happy with our pre-cut tree. They also had a couple little stands selling hot drinks and snacks to create even more family memories while picking out your tree. It was English-friendly, so don’t worry about your German language skills.
Weihnachtsbaumkultur Kayser in Eckersweiler by appointment only. Call owners Christin and Raymond at 175 2820065 (They speak English). They are also open for Christmas tree photos on their farm!
The Ramstein Boy Scouts sell them outside the commissary starting November 25 (according to one source on Facebook).
Home improvement and garden stores like OBI, Hornbach or Dehner
German grocery stores also typically have a small selection throughout the holiday season.
