If you’re like me, it’s not the Christmas season without a real tree! But where can you find one if you’re stationed in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC)? Here are some places in 2025.

  • Weihnachtsbaum Siegfried in Mehlbach: You can purchase a pre-cut tree or cut one yourself with tools they provide. Last year, we visited this spot and were very happy with our pre-cut tree. They also had a couple little stands selling hot drinks and snacks to create even more family memories while picking out your tree. It was English-friendly, so don’t worry about your German language skills.

  • Weihnachtsbaumkultur Kayser in Eckersweiler by appointment only. Call owners Christin and Raymond at 175 2820065 (They speak English). They are also open for Christmas tree photos on their farm!

  • The Ramstein Boy Scouts sell them outside the commissary starting November 25 (according to one source on Facebook).

  • Home improvement and garden stores like OBI, Hornbach or Dehner

  • German grocery stores also typically have a small selection throughout the holiday season.
