Did you know the magic of theater isn’t limited to the people standing under the stage lights? Every performance is brought to life by a community of passionate volunteers that build sets, design costumes, help with concessions, usher audiences, promote productions and support the theater every step of the way. That is exactly what the KMC theater guild is all about.

Volunteers are dedicated to promoting, supporting and encouraging participation in the performing arts throughout the KMC community, the guild welcomes anyone with an interest in supporting our local theaters. You don’t have to be a seasoned performer to help out! Getting involved is easy and first-time volunteers can help in so many ways that match their interests and schedule.

Guild volunteers play an important role in supporting the success of bringing productions to life. Volunteers can contribute by painting scenery, sewing costumes, helping with concessions, ushering audiences or working behind the scenes.

Joining the guild can open the doors to a wonderful community where creativity, teamwork, and friendships are fostered. As a member, you can stay up to date about current and future volunteer opportunities, community events and guild activities. Making a meaningful connection doesn’t require any previous acting experience.

Beyond the productions, the guild helps strengthen our military communities by creating opportunities for people of all backgrounds to come together and connect through the arts. Volunteers can learn new skills, meet new people and be part of something that enriches lives.
