With the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Summer Games shifting to summer 2021, I began reminiscing about the world-class sporting event staged every four years.

Once you arrive in Germany, it’s easy to be swept up in planning your travel adventures. Glamorous cities such as Berlin and Munich often beckon. However, sometimes the real gems are hidden right in front of you, within a day-trip distance.
I grew up in Dublin, Ohio where St. Patrick’s Day was as big as Christmas. My maiden name is Irish and my married name is Irish. So it appears I can’t escape it!
Relocating to another country with children can be confusing for them. Moving to Europe offers a new atmosphere of cultural differences and surroundings. Introducing new sights or cultural concepts to kiddos through reading or games can be a fun way to mentally explore the notion of a new place.
